    I would give them -5 rating. The quality of the semolina is very poor. When soaked in milk or water for making porridge or pancakes, it doesn't swell up at all and becomes strangely sticky and lumpy. If you care your family don't buy this. I throw 4 packet of this in dustbin.

    This is perfect for making idlis. For all those who wrote negative reviews, please note. This is rice rawa used for making idli batter. It is not an instant mix. For people unfamiliar with South Indian cooking, my personal recipe : soak 1 cup udad dal for 5 hours. Grind to a fine, thick paste. Wash and drain 2 and 1/2 cups idli rawa and add to the udad dal paste. Mix well. It will be like thick cake batter. Cover and leave overnight allowing batter to ferment. The batter will rise and increase considerably in volume. Stir well and fill greased idli plates Put in steamer on high heat. When steam forms well, cook on reduced heat for 12 -13 minutes. Overcooking will make idlis hard That's it. The idlis I made with this rawa, turned out like sponge cake As usual. See my photo

    This Semolina doesn't bind at all whether you make Halwa or Pulao, it immediately dries and come loose. It is coarse in texture and not the fine rawa which is much softer.
