I bought this Chymey Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder hoping for authentic Japanese quality. While the packaging says Japanese matcha, I found out it is actually produced in India. The powder works okay for making matcha drinks, but it doesn’t froth as well as higher-grade Japanese matcha powders. The flavor is decent but not as vibrant or smooth as traditional ceremonial matcha. Overall, it’s an okay choice if you want an affordable matcha, but if you’re looking for true Japanese matcha experience, you might want to explore other brands.

One of the best affordable matchas to try in the india market. Usually retails for INR 999 but may reduce sometimes to INF 799 and its important you buy the. really like the texture, vibrant green and is perfect in lattes. i do find it slight bitter but not as much that would ruin the taste. if you are on the lookout for an affordable matcha brand to try in India- this one is it.

This matcha is good. It’s got a great bright green colour, foams very well & doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste which is my favourite thing about this matcha. The only downside I’ve faced till now is that it’s not always in stock & it takes a week to get here. Other than this it’s a great drink

This is my third box of Chymey, and I must say the matcha has a good flavor compared to other brands available here. However, I’ve removed 2 stars for two reasons: 1. Sedimentation—even after thorough whisking, there’s still an obvious residue left behind, and 2. They have increased the price in less than a month, which makes feel a bit overpriced now. That said, I may still return to Chymey for future purchases, as it’s decent matcha compared to what’s currently available in India, where high-quality matcha can be hard to come by.

I was disappointed and had given up on finding good matcha after trying few different brands in india but than i came across Chymes ceremonial matcha and its is best and closest to a very good matcha tea i have had in india. Colour is perfect green , fragrance is bang on and taste is so good. :) i love the packaging it is so perfect keeps the matcha fresh after opening. (If you want to have matcha tea please have only ceremonial grade or imperial grade. culinary grade only for baking and desserts. thank you chymey for bringing us this good matcha tea excited to try the imperial matcha
