I have tasted hotter Bombay mix and also this one did have a bit of an eggy smell. But aside from that the 6 pack were soon 0 packs so cant complain.

Although the bag says "mild curry taste", it is almost as hot as Harappa Hot Hot Chilli Bombay Mix 60 g (Pack of 12). Still not too hot, I think. The lentils got an odd flavour that reminds of pop corn.

These were nicely spiced but a bit of a bland mixture so I added some dried sultanas and this improved it a lot .

The photo on the bag is misleading as there are far fewer noodles than pulses. It's an unusually pulse-heavy mix. Crucially, the pulses are not overcooked as is often the case with these mixes. This gives a pleasantly gentle crunch. Your teeth will thank you. While the mix is warmly spicy it is not overly hot. The description of 'mild' is accurate. This mix was a gift for my spice-mad husband who has tried lots of similar snacks. He says it's the best EVER.

In contrast to Haldiram namkeen this one taste quit bad. Not fresh even when the expiry date is still away. Extra salty and too hard.
