    I recently experimented with baking buns using this dark rye flour, and the results were impressive. The dark rye flour added a depth of flavour and the buns turned out dense yet tender, with a rich, nutty taste.

    If you are getting into making sourdough from scratch, this flour will definitely help you cultivate your starter. The flour is quite intense and dense, but when blended with all purpose flour or bread flour, it yields fantastic results, with a good crumb. The taste of rye is an acquired one, so you'll have to try it for yourself. The price is slightly on the higher side but there is no real competitor which can challenge this quality.
