Stoma Bath Apron Cover prevents the wetting of bags while bathing. You can normally start bathing or showering 2-3 days after your operation, but your Stoma Care Nurse will give you more specific advice You can bath and shower as normal with your stoma and, unless you have been specifically advised otherwise, you can do so with the stoma bag on or off. If you keep your stoma bag in place while you are bathing and don’t intend to change it afterward, protect the filter with a filter cover (sticky patches normally supplied by the manufacturer in your box of stoma bags).

    Useful one and good thought that the thread is placed inside the sheet usually it is stitched and after using for couple of weeks it gets wornout.

    Terribly made product. The band tore up in the first bath. Also, the plastic doesn’t drape well, leaving room for the water to enter. Price is disproportionately high for a piece of plastic

    Good product but daily usage may make it last for less time. We bought it in August 2024, had to buy a new on in March end 2025. I think it was worth it considering our daily usage. We used it to tie around waist of a stoma patient before bathing. Good product, Go for it.
