Tastes, looks, and smells like a black tea. Feels that way too. I can only drink green and oolong tea as my stomach for some reason can't handle black tea. I am getting the same reaction from drinking this tea.

Camellia sinensis is the main ingredient to make all kind of teas. The packaging here is great: you have an hermetic container with 75 grams of loose leaves that have been partially oxidized to give this oolong its specific taste. It seems that this semi fermented tea is produced in Nilgiri, India. I had never heard of a Wa Oolong before, so I am not sure if "WA" refers to the buddhist term 和 for "Zen" or if it is about the Wa people, or the Wa to design japan, etc. Anyway, this tea is woody and is great to have a cup and relax during a break. Now, i am not sure that teas, despite their numerous benefits,help you necessarily to lose weight. I think you need to make more efforts than that personally, but that is my own opinion. This tea has at least no additive and is certified Rainforest Alliance which is a non-governmental organization based in New York and which main goal is to maintain biodiversity and ensure sustainability and all which is inferred in terms of agriculture/trade plus you and me "not always good buying habits for our human gender and the whole planet"....Basically, purchasing this 100 % natural and tasty tea, not only you make yourself happy and healthy (e.g Oolong tea is known to fight against brain degenerescence, osteoporosis, gum problems, cancer, and cardi pathologies among other things), but you also preserve the revenues of the people who made this tea, and you ensure their secular/traditional savoir-faire will not be lost. Rarely we think our purchasing choices have consequences for us, the people and the whole planet. Let's be active thinkers and conscious buyers.

Me ha gustado mucho el sabor de este té, nunca había probado el Oolong, solo lo conocía de haberlo escuchado mencionar en algún anime y me entró curiosidad. Pero dudo de sus propiedades para ayudar a adelgazar, creo que hace lo mismo que si te tomases un té verde o similar. Tampoco había probado el té en hojas sueltas, si tienes tetera está muy bien, porque apenas una cucharadita de postre te dará mucho sabor, así te da para muchas raciones.

Sometimes I had bad luck with Oolong tea before so I was suspicious about this tea as well... But Wa Oolong tea is really nice. Very clean taste and there is slightly fruity flavour I feel. ( I mean ... Original oolong tea taste but there is elegant fragrance) Excellent loose tea.

I got this tea in open manner an also seal was broken.. since it was a non returnable product i couldnt return it also.. such expensive tea and sellingin this manner … very disappointing..!! Tea is nothing great too

I have been having this tea for two months now. It's an addiction for me after my meals. I take it twice a day after my breakfast and dinner. It has significantly reduced my bloating issues and worked on my insomnia too. Lastly, packaging is excellent and Amazon delivery system is prompt too!

The Darjeeling Oolong was nice, but this Nilgiris Oolong has the freshness and fragrance of the region. It's much more lighter but richer. The flavours really come out better when brewed Gongfu style at 80°C. Don't brew too hot or too long and you'll have some of the best brews of the Oolong.

I just got the order yesterday. And yes I ordered it after going through all the reviews that it helps in reducing weight. I am on my way to reduce some kilos.. As of now I can say as people scared of Green Tea because of its bitter taste, those people can go for it.. And will share if I will lose some 👍😀

This Oolong tea is very good — better than most. But I still feel the oolong tea from Manohari from Assam is the best. Unfortunately does not appear to be available online.

This is oolong tea, without any flavor or scenet, very good for health, just like green tea. Those who want strong liquor and black color, which is not available from green tea, must go to oolong. Mix good leaf tea with for flavour or scent.
