1) Texture wise: Only thing worth noting is that texture wise, the salt feels flaky/chunky, and this salt doesn't isn't like powder. I'm not saying that the salt won't dissolve, but it's harder to use this salt to salt salads since the salt is more flaky and each salt granule is rather thick. Works fine for rice and other dishes with liquids. Also hard to crush it into powder. 2) Smell wise: I am surprised how this salt is absolutely odourless, but I assume that's because it's not refined or bleached to give that strong salty smell. 3) Taste wise: Tastes salty as you would expect salt to taste

It was mentioned in description as crystal salt. But received powder salt of 3 pkts . Next time crystal salt may expected to be supplied.

I liked the salt. One needs to get used to the saltiness of sea salt vs table salt or iodised salt. Until then, use low quantity to avoid making dishes too salty. U need to grind a batch and use it . It won't flow like your usual salt. But that's the point. Also I want to know if it's really polished or not. I m not sure of it. I started using this bcos I have hyperthyroidism. And not sure if this made any difference. My numbers did change in 2 months. I cannot say it's due to salt or just my meds.
