The kit includes a pH screening paper, colour chart and sterilized cotton swab to assist you in determining your Vaginal pH results. Taking the test is very simple and convenient. All you have to do is gently insert the swab into your vagina, then, using the same swab, gently rub all sides of the swab’s tip on the strip for a few seconds before comparing the colour of this strip to the chart provided in the kit.
Vaginal acidity is measured on a scale of 1 to 14, with a normal balance falling between 3.8 and 4.5. The median is seven; anything below that is acidic, and anything above that is alkaline.
The observation of a vaginal infection is indicated by an abnormal range of acidity or alkalinity, which this kit helps you understand.

How to Use

1. Open the package, and do not touch the head of the swab.
2. Carefully insert the swab tip gently into the vagina and push it to a point until approximately 2 inches of the swab is into the vagina so that it reaches the cervix area for 10 seconds. A time of 10 seconds is important to ensure that the head of the swab becomes well moistened with vaginal secretions. Sufficient moisture is very important for the test evaluation.
3. Place the swab tip and gently rotate the tip on the test pad. Make sure not to vigorously rub the test pad by scratching it with the swab tip.
4. Observe the change in colour on the test pad immediately or within 10-20 seconds and record the observation.
