    The protein content in amaranth is pretty high, and Jiwa’s cold-pressed version makes it even better. It’s perfect for someone like me trying to balance fitness with home food.

    I usually struggle to get gluten-free dough right, but Jiwa Amaranth Flour kneads so easily, no mess at all. The rotis turn out soft, and the mild nutty aroma is something I look forward to at dinner.

    I made a repeat order from Jiwa this time and was disappointed to know that the amaranth flour this time was not of the same quality as the last time our purchased. The consistency wasn’t there. The flour was much more stickier and was like glue. It was difficult to knead, bake on the tava and even more difficult to chew. Bhakris or rotis made out of this flour was chewy and sticky. The last time I bought it, it was good and hence I did a repurchase. The Jiva brand needs to check this and be consistent with their quality. The flour is so ad that I have stopped making rotis from this cause it’s not edible after a tiresome job to knead and bake it.

    Very impressed with the consistency across packs. The flour always smells fresh, and doesn’t clump up or feel stale. A sign of true quality.

    The flour is so easy to knead and doesn’t turn sticky like other gluten-free flours. The aroma while cooking is really fresh and nutty—feels pure and cold-pressed.
