    The best before date of this item was April last year 2023. It was packed October 2021. Been drinking it for a week now and just realized this is why it tastes so dull. Would have been nice to have ordered tea that was fresh or at least not stale for over a year.

    I was very disappointed in this tea. It has a bitter flavor that leaves a very unpleasant aftertaste. I can’t bring myself to brew a second cup. The smell in the tin is quite bitter, exactly as the taste. It just occurred to me to check the date on the tin. Best by is 18 months, and this was shipped to me 26 months after it was packed! I’m hoping the bitterness is because it’s old. I’m relatively new to tea, and had hoped most white tea would be delicate and pleasant.

    The Aroha has a light floral sweetness without tasting artificial . Not bitter at all. Haven’t tried it iced but plan to. Because of the low caffeine it would be good any time of the day or evening. It is a Good value for a white tea.

    My friend who is an ardent fan of teas has introduced me to White Teas. I considered them the same as Green Teas until I consumed them. This brand has been continuously amazing me with its fresh Whole Leaf Teas that I actually enjoy compared to other brands. The leaves are so fresh and full of goodness.
